Ranibizumab, saline show similar vitrectomy outcomes
The cumulative probability of vitrectomy at 16 weeks in diabetic retinopathy patients with vitreous hemorrhage was 12% in those who received ranibizumab treatment and 17% in patients who had saline injections, researchers reported in JAMA Ophthalmology.
