Study sees short-term benefits in online diabetes program
Patients with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes who participated in an online disease intervention showed greater A1C improvements at six months compared with those in the control group, a study indicated. However, the improvements were not sustained at 12 months, researchers wrote in the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association.
