Type 1 diabetes patients benefit from education in routine care
Adults with type 1 diabetes who received a structured education program given via routine care showed significant improvements in glycated hemoglobin from baseline to six and 12 months, according to a study in Diabetes Care. Researchers also noted improvements in patients' quality of life at three months that continued at six and 12 months.
