On 16-18 Nov., 2012, the inaugural FCD SALSA ("Students Advocating for Life without Substance Abuse") Summit was held at Endicott College in Beverly, Mass. Eight schools with a total of over 40 adult and student participants from Mexico, Texas, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida and Massachusetts attended the first international gathering of non-use peer leadership teams. SALSA is an innovative program created by FCD for students who choose not to use alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
