HHS' Connect program to include "meaningful use" features

The Connect software will be updated in 2010 to include features that will help facilitate file sharing, e-prescribing and other transactions necessary to meet meaningful use requirements, an HHS official said. "The goal is to create a platform for participation in health information exchange and meaningful use so that those who want to innovate have a (way) of handling that," added a Connect expert.
