Ensuring a successful migration to the cloud means taking off the blinders and considering both the business and technological implications of the project, says Kurt Milne, managing director of the IT Process Institute. According to Milne -- whose organization recently completed a survey of 143 companies that have made the transition -- making a leap to the cloud should be a group effort that considers the needs and concerns of end users and leverages the expertise of a company's business administration and IT departments.
