The Mercosur trading bloc in Latin America has passed Resolution 32/12, a set of measures intended to standardize the way companies that manufacture medical devices and in vitro diagnostics in the region are inspected and certified. The bloc currently has five member states, which are Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Paraguay and Uruguay.
