Pfizer, Novartis settle patent dispute over Zithromax

Pfizer and Novartis AG have settled a patent-infringement dispute filed in a U.S. court over Pfizer's Zithromax antibiotic. Novartis and one of its U.S. units, Sandoz, were named in the suit over Pfizer's claim to a 2005 patent for the drug, but the parties settled on undisclosed terms.
