2010 Medicare fee schedule increases assumed equipment-use rate

The CMS on Friday announced that it is increasing the assumed equipment-use rate for medical equipment, including diagnostic imaging systems, from 50% to 90% as part of the new 2010 Medicare fee schedule rules.
