Sens. Mike Johanns, R-Neb., and Jon Tester, D-Mont., have introduced a bill to exempt companies that use swaps to protect against losses from having to pay increased margin mandated by the Dodd-Frank Act. The bill, supported by 12 senators on both sides, is the same as one passed by a House committee this week.
