"I am thrilled to have won, but perhaps more importantly, I am truly honored to have represented Foodland and Hawaii in this competition amongst the best supermarkets chefs," said Keoni Chang, corporate chef at Foodland Super Market. "There was a time when no one would say 'supermarket' and 'chef' in the same breath, but thankfully those times have changed. Now more than ever, customers are finding restaurant-quality food at their local supermarket because of people like my fellow competitors who bring their passion and love for sharing great dishes and recipes to the neighborhood grocery store every day," Chang said.
