The EU Food Safety Authority says it will not pursue a ban on genetically modified corn from Monsanto, saying a study linking the corn to cancer in rats was flawed. "Conclusions cannot be regarded as scientifically sound because of inadequacies in the design, reporting and analysis of the study as outlined in the paper," according to the authority.
