Retailers have begun rolling out New Year's promotions, including one from Giant Eagle that offers "New Year's Eve Good Luck Pretzels" for $4.99 each. H-E-B of San Antonio is offering a 10% discount on sparkling wine and champagne, while Hy-Vee in Iowa is putting out a circular offering specials on party food such as shrimp, appetizers and beer.
