Magic mirror makes for virtual makeovers
Grocery and drugstore chains looking to stem losses from opened cosmetic products without losing customers to specialty chains such as Sephora are testing mirrors that give shoppers a virtual makeover. The kiosks from Israeli startup EZface create digital makeover pictures of shoppers "wearing" the products they want to try, which can be printed out, e-mailed to friends and even posted on Facebook.
