Legislation would give pharmacists access to IT loans

Pharmacists and other medical providers would be able to apply for health IT loans under provisions of an amendment included in the Small Business Financing and Investment Act of 2009, if the legislation is enacted. With this financial assistance, "pharmacists can focus on helping to create a system that works for everybody and not worry about the implementation costs of participation," National Community Pharmacists Association CEO Bruce T. Roberts said.
