Researchers recommend ibuprofen for treating fracture pain in children
Researchers found that ibuprofen works as well as acetaminophen with codeine in relieving pain in children with a broken arm. No overall difference was observed in the number of cases when pain relief failed in both treatment options, but those children who received ibuprofen reported better functional results and more satisfaction than those who received acetaminophen with codeine.
