Heart disease, stroke deaths linked to low vitamin D

Study participants with the lowest levels of vitamin D in their blood were 25% more likely to die of heart attack or stroke than those with the highest levels, researchers found. They noted, however, that there is no scientific consensus on what the optimal range of vitamin D should be.
