CFPB to take a closer look at prepaid cards

With the prepaid-card industry expected to expand 42% in the next couple of years, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau says it's going to take a closer look at regulations for the cards. CFPB Director Richard Cordray says prepaid-card users are often "the most vulnerable among us," and the agency will seek public comment to examine issues such as fee transparency and consumer protections.
