FSA scrutinises Barclays' CoCo bond
A contingent-capital bond being sold by Barclays to shield its capital position is drawing scrutiny from the UK Financial Services Authority. The bond will not convert into shares and will be wiped out if Barclays' core capital ratio falls below 7%, which is considered a high trigger.
