FDA gives St. Jude nod on updated remote monitoring system
The FDA has approved the latest version of St. Jude Medical's Merlin.net system, which is used to aid clinicians in remotely monitoring patients with pacemakers and other implantable cardiac devices. The updated version is equipped with the LeadAssurance feature to determine whether a patient's defibrillator leads are functioning properly.
