SMBs are sitting on a "digital gold mine," report says
The Web is a utility, not an advertising medium, and small companies that provide Web services are potentially sitting on "a gargantuan digital gold mine," according to a Borrell Associates report. SMBs will spend $47 billion on online consulting and research services this year, plus $40 billion on SEO and $43 billion on e-mail management services, the report found.
