Business is marvelous for Marva Maid Dairy
Marva Maid Dairy in Newport News, Va., was started in 1962 to provide milk to military bases and has since acquired other companies and expanded beyond that market. The company, owned by a cooperative of more than 1,600 dairy farmers from Maryland to Alabama, recently unveiled a logo identifying it as "farmer-owned."
