London unveils its pictograms for 2012 Olympics

The 2012 London Olympics launched its pictograms, to be used for wayfinding and directional signage during the Games. "One of the joys of London 2012 is the coming together and connection of the world's people, and so a more contemporary approach to pictograms offers an opportunity beyond pure informational signage," said a branding expert who worked on the designs.
