Study: Geotargeting, story content make difference in social sharing
Pieces of content posted to Facebook that were targeted to users' locations were more likely to be liked and shared than postings made available to a non-targeted audience, according to a study by NPR Digital Services. The study also revealed that the kinds of stories posted also made a big difference in rates of sharing.
