The New Jersey Senate passed a marriage equality bill Monday in a bipartisan 24-16 vote, and advocates expect the legislation will also be passed in the State Assembly this week. Although Gov. Chris Christie has vowed to veto the measure, marriage activists say they're ready to commit to a long-term effort to overturn the veto.
