Report: Top Justice official violated law with anti-gay bias
A U.S. Justice Department investigation has determined that Monica Goodling, a top aide to former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, acted in violation of federal nondiscrimination laws by refusing to offer a job to a department attorney because she thought she was a lesbian. "We concluded that Goodling's actions violated department policy and federal law, and constituted misconduct," according to the report the DOJ's Office of Inspector General and Office of Professional Responsibility.
