Sestak sees no reason to wait to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy:

U.S. Rep. Joe Sestak, D-Pa., a former Navy vice admiral who is leading the effort in the House to repeal the military gay ban, said the yearlong wait proposed by defense and military officials for ending the ban is too long. He called on President Barack Obama to issue a so-called stop-loss order to end enforcement of the policy. "I think at the end of the day, the commander in chief saying let's do this, with the military's leadership saying let's do this, you'll find that there'll be more than enough votes to make it happen," Sestak said.
