On military ban, will Congress make the next move?

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., in the wake of top military and defense leaders calling for the end of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy," would not commit to a timetable for Congress to take action. There was muted response from most other federal elected officials, many of whom seem to want to avoid the issue until after the midterm elections.
