Gay and lesbian students at Daggett Middle School in Fort Worth, Texas, have formed a GLEE club to offer their peers a gay-straight support group. "They wanted a place where they felt safe," said social studies teacher and club sponsor Lisa Earley. Members of GLEE -- which stands for Gay, Lesbian, Everybody Else -- meet most Friday mornings. The club is one of several Gay-Straight Alliance groups in schools in the Fort Worth district, which is working to end bullying and teen dating violence, among other problems.
