George Zimmerman, the accused shooter of Trayvon Martin, has filed a defamation lawsuit against NBC and three reporters who covered the story for the network or one of its stations, claiming edited versions of 911 tapes made him seem like a racist. An NBC representative denied the claim, saying, "There was no intent to portray Mr. Zimmerman unfairly. We intend to vigorously defend our position in court."
