Smith, Newberry have sit-down with FCC chairman
New NAB President-CEO Gordon Smith, along with NAB Joint Board Chairman Steven Newberry, met with FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski Wednesday to discuss media ownership rules and the possible restoration of the minority tax certificate program as a means of improving diversity on the public airwaves.
