Networks want station carriage fees from cablers
Both CBS and News Corp. reportedly are calling on cable companies to pay monthly fees in exchange for carriage of the networks' stations. "It makes the television-network model a whole lot healthier," said Leslie Moonves, CBS' president and chief executive.
