N.M. governor plans state-run insurance exchange
Republican Gov. Susana Martinez of New Mexico has moved to establish a state-run health insurance exchange under the auspices of the nonprofit New Mexico Health Insurance Alliance, which offers access to insurance for small businesses and some residents. The office of Attorney General Gary King is examining whether the exchange must be authorized by the Legislature.
