Maine expands AP access with online courses
Officials in Maine are seeking to improve students' access to Advanced Placement courses through a program called AP4ALL, operated through the state Department of Education. Through AP4ALL, students are provided with online access to AP courses that are not available in their schools. The state now plans to increase funding for the program and expand its courses from 17 this year to 21 next year -- allowing up to 420 students to enroll in the classes.
