Discovery, Friendly to hook up on Planet Green
Discovery Communications has hired Andy Friendly to executive-produce a project and consult on the company's Planet Green, an environmentally focused channel to launch next year. Discovery President and CEO David Zaslav said Friendly's vision would make the channel "a buzzworthy and compelling destination for consumers across multiple platforms."
