FCC, SBA say their plan is to lower the cost of Internet services
Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski and SBA Administrator Karen Mills announced plans Thursday for a national broadband proposal to aid small businesses. The primary goal of the plan is to increase competition for Internet services, which in turn will make it more affordable for small businesses to compete globally through the Web, the agency heads said.
