Wolseley reports lower profit amid U.S. housing slump

Wolseley says the U.S. housing slump is partly to blame for its five-month profit decline. The plumbing and heating equipment wholesaler-distributor will continue to review its cost base, with the market expected to remain soft over the next few months, CEO Chip Hornsby said.
