Sale of HD Supply finalized
The Home Depot Inc. has completed the sale of its wholesale-distribution division to private equity firms after lowering the price from $10.3 billion to $8.5 billion. The home improvement retailer will keep a 12.5% stake in HD Supply under the terms of the sale. The company said it will use the funds gained from the sale to support its share buyback program.
