NBCT calls on Obama to listen to teachers when pushing reform

National Board Certified Teacher Anthony Cody has written an open letter to President Barack Obama asking him to reconsider some of his administration's proposals for education reform. In this blog post, Cody's letter says that teachers are being largely ignored in Secretary of Education Arne Duncan's push for reform, and some efforts, such as merit pay for teachers, will have negative effects on education. Cody has created a Facebook page where other educators can post letters to Obama.
