President Barack Obama won this year's mock presidential election, organized by Scholastic Classroom Magazines. About 250,000 students cast votes this year -- in elementary to high school -- with 51% of votes being cast for Obama and 45% for Republican challenger Mitt Romney, while another 4% went to write-ins. The Scholastic Student Vote has been conducted since 1940, and students have elected the eventual winner in all but two years.
