Many teachers are using the excitement of the election season to engage students in classroom lessons, journalist Suzie Boss writes in this blog post. The online exchange project PenPal News Red-Blue includes students in about 25 states who are discussing election issues. Boss also writes about #MyParty12, in which students are interviewing candidates for local office and producing campaign ads.
