U.S. researchers seek to learn lessons from Fukushima Daiichi
Researchers with the National Academy of Sciences held discussions with Japanese officials about the safety lessons learned from the Fukushima Daiichi incident. "We are trying to look at the whole experience and to take from that lessons which can be applied to increasing safety of nuclear power," said Norman Neureiter, head of the academy's 22-member panel.
