Japan's nuclear plants should be restarted immediately after their safety is verified, said Hiroyuki Hosoda, chairman of the general council of Japan's Liberal Democratic Party. "Looking at energy prices, we are clearly in a situation where we need to restart the nuclear reactors," Hosoda said. Only two of the country's 50 reactors are online after the Fukushima Daiichi incident.
