House Republicans ready their health reform plan

House Republicans plan to introduce their own health reform plans this week, which call for insurance pools that cross state lines instead of government expansion. House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, says the plan will drop a long-held proposal to offer tax incentives to consumers who buy their own insurance. Analysts say the Republican plan has no chance of passage but may be a way for the party to negotiate costs.
