RPI declined for 2nd consecutive month in September

The association's Restaurant Performance Index -- a monthly composite index that tracks the health of and outlook for the U.S. restaurant industry -- stood at 97.5 in September, down 0.4% from August and its 23rd consecutive month below 100.
