Craft beers juice pizza chains' sales
The addition of local and craft brews can enhance pizza restaurant beer sales, such as happened at Brixx: Wood Fired Pizza chain in North Carolina, where beer now accounts for a healthy 10% of revenues. "I would definitely say the craft beer market is a higher socioeconomic level than the average consumer," said managing partner Jeff Van Dyke. "But basically today everyone from college kids on up is more interested in the local beers and craft beers."
