Small businesses can expect continued tight credit
Experts say financing will continue to be a problem for small businesses as recovery from the recession goes on because big banks have cut back credit and small banks do not have enough capacity to fill the gap. "We have to figure out how to get to the institutions and avenues small businesses actually use," says William Dennis of the National Federation of Independent Business Research Foundation. Experts say more creditworthy businesses are being denied credit.
