New York couples are eschewing high-end restaurants for a new category of dinner dates that feature tapas, artisanal pizza and more reasonable prices. "People fetishize food more than they did before," said one observer. "The pressure isn't to find the most white tablecloth, white gloves kind of place, but you do need to find the best tapas, or they need to have the best Ibérico ham."
