New York housing project features rooftop greenhouse
A six-story affordable housing project in the South Bronx in New York features a 10,000-square-foot rooftop greenhouse that will use rainwater from the building for irrigation and recycled heat to warm the plants. Residents will be able to eat produce from the garden, and the project could fuel local employment.
