Clean technology one of few growth industries in U.S.
Clean-technology jobs are poised for growth, according to a report by research group Clean Edge. An infusion of stimulus funds and venture capital has bolstered employment in energy efficiency and sustainable power. Companies hiring for clean tech range from multinationals such as Cisco and Siemens to smaller companies such as smart grid provider Itron.
